It is based on a composite material with 3 firmly bonded layers: steel as backing, sintered bronze spherical powder as interlayer and modified POM(polyformaldehyde) as lining layer.
The SF-2 series products are structurally very similar to DX® brand sleeves and often provide better value than DX sleeves. These materials are usually designed for edge lubrication operations. The most common of the SF is the formation of a uniform indentation pattern on the surface of the casing for use as a lubricant reservoir.
It fits well for low speed, heavy duty and normal temperature and saves cost and prolongs working life when replacing normal full copper sleeves. It is widely applied in auto chassis, forging machine metallurgical and mining machine, civil engineering, power station, strip rolling industries, etc
1. POM thickness 0.30~0.50 mm. It provides high wear resistance and low friction even with only minute volume of lubricant are supplied, this bearing surface carries a pattern of circular indents which should be filled with grease on assembly of the bearing.
2. Sintered bronze powder thickness 0.20-0.35mm. A special composition of powdered copper is thermally fused to the steel backing.
3. Low-carbon steel. Setting the foundation of the bushings, the steel back provides exceptional stability, load carrying and heat dissipation characteristics.
